Karaoke West Side Style
Jets and Sharks came together last Friday, April 22 for an event that blew the roof off the New China restaurant...KARAOKE!

Puerto Ricans and Americans danced and sang along to blissful tunes and hardcore rock. Highlights of the night included Robbie Mallon's version of American Pie, Liz Zito and Amy Porter do Elton John and Kiki Dee and who could forget Glenn Ferguson's heart wrenching rendition of The Bangles hit, Eternal Flame?

And what the hell was with the 'Bohemian Rhapsody scary headless dolls' film-clip?

Welcome Aboard
On behalf of the members of Shepparton Theatre Arts Group, I would like to warmly welcome two new additions to our Executive Committee for 2005 - 2006, Jo Chambers and Jacquie Pithie.

Jo Chambers has been involved with STAG since 2001. After displaying her skills as a very highly regarded microphone technician, Jo has since moved into the area of Production Management. In less than four years Jo has managed to orchestrate the production of no less than five shows and is currently the PM for West Side Story. After that little adventure she will then PM for our September play, The Castle.

Jacquie Pithie exploded onto the backstage crew of Annie and then went on to feature in Aussie Rock. She has showed everyone who steps into her path a 'gung-ho' attitude towards everything she does and is a great team player. Jacquie is currently the Social Co-Ordinator for West Side Story.

Departing from our committee this year are Marilyn Felini and Tania Deith. During their terms on committee, both endeavoured to work extremely hard toward the success of the company and their contribution is greatly appreciated. We wish them well on future adventures.
