The One (Act Play) Day In September
It seems that we are unable to present a dramatic play in September this year due to there not being enough interest in directing.
There are heaps of members jumping at the chance to audition for a play, but no one wanting to guide them along the path of theatrical splendor.
We are looking for anyone who has a thirst to undertake directing, but needs a turn at wading in at the shallow end. If you are interested in directing (and I say directing in a very laid back but committed way), then we'd love to hear from you.
In September we are looking to present two to three one act plays at the Bakehouse; no sets, props or costumes; just a handful of actors and the
support of your friends.
You may know of a one act play you wish to 'direct' or you may ask committee in assisting you to find one - we have a great many resources at our disposal in order to select the right one for you.
If this sounds like you and you would like to know more, email us by clicking here.

On A Shiny Day You Can See Forever
With less than a week to go before STAG's world premiere event, the Some Shiny Days cast and crew are busy putting the finishing touches of playwright, John Lewis' theatrical debut.
If you are going to only attend one SheppARTon Festival event this year, your best bet would be to support the local theatre scene and make sure you put your skates on and roll over to WestSide Performing Arts Centre to discover the joys of pre-natal classes and the mysteries of blood and bone.
To book tickets to this exciting event, just dial 5832 9511 and get connected to Riverlinks Box Office - the place where all ticketing happens.
