This November, STAG is heading outdoors for William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, with three nights of comedy, romance and mischief amongst the vines at Murchison Winery – Longleat Estates.
Four young lovers, a group of amateur actors determined to put on a play and a fairy king and queen at war make for a recipe for chaos. Throw in Puck and a little bit of magic, and things are about to get very messy!
Directed by Gemma Marchant, this lively production features a fantastic local cast and brings one of Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies to life in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Never seen Shakespeare before? Don’t worry! You don’t need to know the play to enjoy the laughs, the romance and all the things that go horribly wrong along the way.

Bring your own picnic rug or low-backed outdoor chair and settle in close to the action.
Camp Chair Ticket
Prefer a little more height and comfort? Bring your own standard camp chair and select the Camp Chair ticket option so we can seat you in the appropriate area without blocking the view of guests seated lower down.
Please note: seating is NOT provided. All patrons must BYO their own picnic rug or chair.
Veranda Ticket :- Prefer to be on the raised veranda? Then book one of our special veranda seats and enjoy the balcony as if it were the Globe Theatre itself – this ticket also includes a beautiful hamper to enjoy.

– Picnic hampers will be available to pre-purchase through the ticketing site, and there will also be a dessert bar on the night.
– Murchison Winery is a licensed venue, so no BYO food or alcohol is permitted. Wine and other beverages will be available to purchase at the venue.
